Due to a shortage of bus operators the following buses will not be running tomorrow. Bus 120B on the Philippi end of the county and bus 11-27 (formerly bus 103B) on the Belington and Junior end of the county will not be running in the afternoon.
Bus 25B on the Philippi end of the county will not be running. Transfer students from bus 24, will ride bus 101 from Philip Barbour to transfer to their bus home.

Bus Transfer Information for PBHS Students
Due to the merger of grades 6-12 at Philip Barbour High School, some previous bus transfers need revised to allow for room on buses. Please make sure your students know the appropriate bus numbers they will need to ride if transferring morning and/or evening. The following transfers will take place:
Belington and Junior End Bus transfers -
Bus 39-23 (formerly 121B) will transfer to 40-23 in the morning. Bus 39-23 will pick-up his first run students. Bus 39-23 second run students (Rt 92, Hunter's Fork Rd and Stringtown Rd) will need to ride bus 40-23 from Philip Barbour. They will wait at Belington Elementary School until Bus 39-23 comes to pick up the second run.
Bus 122B will transfer to Bus 123B in the morning. Bus 122B will pick-up his first run students at PBHS in the afternoon. Bus 122B second run students (Jackson St and Audra Park Rd) will need to ride bus 123B from Philip Barbour. They will wait at Belington Elementary School until Bus 122B comes to pick up the second run.
Bus 45 (formerly 114B) will transfer to 119B in the morning. These students will ride bus 119B from PBHS to transfer back to 45 at Belington Elementary School in the afternoon.
There will not be a transfer for bus 11-27 (formerly 103B) and bus 36-22. Both of these buses will deliver and pick-up their own students from PBHS.
Kasson End Bus transfers -
Bus 116B will transfer to bus 113B in the morning Monday through Wednesday. Bus 116B will haul its own students on Thursday and Friday. In the evening, Bus 113B will transfer bus 116B students at Kasson Elementary to catch their bus home.
Bus 2501 will transfer to bus 22B in the morning. In the afternoon, Bus 2501 will transfer bus 22B students at Kasson Elementary to catch their bus home.
Philippi End Bus transfers -
Bus 25B will transfer to Bus 24B in the morning. In the afternoon, Bus 24B students will ride bus 25B from PBHS to transfer to their home bus at the Old Philippi Middle School building.
Bus 21B (2nd run students only) and Bus 42-24 students will ride bus 37-22 in the afternoon and transfer at the old Philippi Middle School to catch their home bus.
Bus 101B (formerly bus 108B) will transfer to 121B (formerly 39-23) in the morning. If the afternoon bus 101B will transfer bus 121B students at the Philippi Middle School Building to catch their bus home.
Bus 2502 will transfer to Bus 118B in the morning only. They will ride their own bus home from PBHS in the afternoon.
Bus 115B will transfer to Bus 124B in the morning. In the afternoon, Bus 124B students will ride bus 115B and transfer at the Old Philippi Middle School to catch their bus home.
Bus 120B will ride bus 118B in the afternoon only and transfer at Old Philippi Middle School to catch their home bus. PBHS students living on Lander Road (behind Builder's Center) will ride bus 41-24 both morning AND evening. Please view bus 41-24 bus schedule online for stop times. Philippi Elementary students will still ride bus 120B.

Due to declining road conditions and roads now unsafe for travel, the following roads have been removed from bus schedules and have been assigned other areas for bus pick-up and drop off:
Belington & Junior Area -
For Bus 36-22 - The bus will no longer travel out Goff School Rd. Goff School Rd students may meet the bus for pick-up and drop off at Williams Excavating located at 6341 Talbott Rd. Morning pick-up will be at 6:34. Please be there no later than 6:30 a.m. Afternoon drop off will be at 3:40 p.m. Please be there by 3:35 p.m. waiting for your student.
For Bus 45 (formerly Bus 114B) - The bus will no longer be traveling out Carpenter Ln/Fox Rd/Trinity Rd area. Students on the Junior end may meet bus 11-27 (formerly 103B) at the entry of River Rd and Carpenter Ln and River Rd. Morning pick-up will be at 6:52 a.m. Please be there by 6:45 a.m. Evening drop off will be at 3:47 p.m. Students on the Talbott Rd end may catch the bus at Talbott Rd and Trinity Rd at 6:42 a.m. Please be there by 6:35 a.m. Evening drop off will be at 3:35 p.m. Please be there by 3:30 p.m. to pick up your student.
Philippi Area -
For Bus 42-24 - The bus will no longer travel out Burner Rd and Briarpatch Rd. The stops for Burner Rd will be at the entry of Burner Rd and Union Rd or at the Union Community Building. For the Burner Rd and Union Rd location, morning pick-up will be at 6:38 a.m. Please have your student there by 6:30 a.m. Evening drop off will be at 3:30 p.m. For the Union Community location, morning pick-up will be at 6:51 a.m. Please have your student there by 6:45 a.m. Evening drop off will be at 3:45 p.m. Briarpatch Rd students may catch the bus at 4450 Union Rd. Morning pick-up will be at 6:54 a.m. Please have your student there by 6:50 a.m. Evening drop off will be at 3:48 p.m. Please be there by 3:40 p.m.
The following roads will now be weather permitting roads:
Belington area-
For Bus 36-22, Water Camp Rd. The bus will meet parents at the wide spot across from the entry of Water Camp Rd and Talbott Rd.
Philippi Area -
For Bus 2502, Briarpatch Rd (on the Jerusalem Church end). The bus will meet students at the Briarpatch Rd and Porterfield Rd entry.
For Bus 115B (morning bus) and Bus 118B (evening bus), Spall Lick Rd. These buses will meet students at the entry of Elk Creek Rd (Rt 57) and Spall Lick Rd.
The drivers will hand out Bus Information Sheet for parents and/or guardians to fill out. The drivers will use the contact phone number given from those sheets to let the parent and/or guardian know when they feel the road is unsafe for bus travel. Every attempt will be made to pick up your student at the entry of each road listed.
Bus Run changes:
Philippi Area -
Bus 41-24, will now be the morning and afternoon bus for ALL Philip Barbour High School students. Bus 41-24 will now deliver the Philip Barbour High School students out Lander Road in the afternoon as well. Bus 21B will still deliver the North Philippi area (elementary school students only ) on his first run in the afternoon. Bus 120B will still delver the Philippi Elementary School students on Lander Rd. Please view the bus schedules online under Departments, then under Transportation.
