Bus 40-23, on the Belington and Kasson end of the county, will not be able to make it full run this afternoon. The small wooden bridge past Poling Rd is flooded. The bus cannot cross the bridge. Parents may pick up their students at the new bridge located at Meadowville-Kirt and Poling Rd. This bus will be there at approximately 1:55.

Due to the early dismissal bus 114B will not be making its regular run this evening. JES shuttle students will ride bus 103B to BES to catch their regular bus home. For students riding bus 2502, the bus will not be able to take the Mt Liberty students across the temporary bridge. It is flooded. Parents will need to pick up their students at their respective schools. Parents may utilize Griffith Rd on to Pt Pleasant Rd.

Due to weather conditions and the potential for flooding in parts of the county, Barbour County Schools will dismiss two hours early today. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. This year, Barbour County Schools will offer weekly meal box deliveries, providing 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child, conveniently shipped directly to students’ homes.
