Due to high water, Barbour County Schools will be on a 2hr delay, tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Due to weather conditions and the potential for flooding in parts of the county, Barbour County Schools will dismiss two hours early today.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Please use caution while traveling and allow extra time as buses may experience delays on some routes due to high water or road conditions.

Bus 114B, on the Junior and Belington end of the county, will not be running in the morning. It will be running in the afternoon. Bus 103B will transport the Junior Elementary shuttle students in the morning.

Barbour County Schools is pleased to announce participation in the USDA Summer Food Program to help ensure children in our community have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months.
This year, Barbour County Schools will offer weekly meal box deliveries, providing 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child, conveniently shipped directly to students’ homes.
Eligibility: All children ages 1–18 residing in Barbour County are eligible to participate.
How to Sign Up: A parent or guardian must register to request meal box delivery.

Bus 114B and bus 103B, on the Junior and Belington end of the county, will not be running tomorrow afternoon. There will not be a Junior Shuttle bus tomorrow afternoon.

Due to mechanical issues, Bus 103-B, will not be running this afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

📢 Important Notice for PBHS Families
Tomorrow, Philippi-Barbour High School will operate on a Remote Learning Day due to water line issues affecting the building.
💻 Students will complete assignments through Google Classroom and should check for communication from their teachers.
👩🏫 PBHS Staff will report to Philippi Middle School (PMS).

Starting Wednesday, April 15,2026:
Bus 113B on the Kasson/Belington end of the county will be operating on its regular schedule morning and evening. Bus 105-22 will still operate currently as is due to the driver helping to cover another route.
Bus 108B, on the Philippi end of the county, will be running its regular schedule in the morning but will be approximately 20 minutes later in the evening. PB students for bus 108B, will need ride bus 2502 to Philippi Middle School and wait at Philippi Middle School for their bus home. This arrangement for 108B will be in effect until the vacancy is filled. Thank you!

Philip Barbour High School students will be on a non-traditional learning day for today due to unforeseen circumstances. All staff will report to the library at PMS. Students will need to complete assignments remotely on their Chromebooks.

Students, please, charge your chrome books and have them ready for classes. Also, if you have not turned in your signed course request papers, they are past due.
