Steps to activate your Coaching Account:

1. Click on the link above that says "Parent Guidance"

2. Click on Parent Coaching at the top of the page.

3. Click on the Get started tab

4. Choose WV Option and hit next

5. Choose your child's county and hit next

6. Choose your child's school and hit register

7. Fill out the account information and hit create account

8. Once you have registered you can schedule your 1st coaching session.

Michelle Blatt, the West Virginia State Superintendent of Schools, announced the Cook Center for Human Connection partnership at the end of May 2024.   This partnership will provides parent/staff coaching for free over the next 3 years. 

The Cook Center for Human Connection is a non-profit foundation that is focused on eradicating suicide and providing the premier mental health programs and resources across the country to educate, empower, and engage parents that will better support the emotional wellness of our students. 

As a result, Parentguidance.org will now be available to all staff and parents FREE of charge. 

What Parent Guidance.org offers:

• Parents and Staff Cognitive Behavior Coaching

• Each caregiver or staff member receives face-time video calls for 20-30 minutes bi-weekly or weekly.

• Coaching is confidential.

• 70 on demand and anonymous access to courses that cover topics such as anxiety & depression, ADHD, bullying, grief & loss, suicide prevention, self-harm, trauma, disabilities and social medias impact on mental health.
